This is located in a fine 1 8th-century palazzo that once belonged to the Marquises of Busca that stands above the small township, some twenty kilorr.etres from Alba. The Centre is concerned with dessert wines, particularly Asti Spumante and Moscato d'Asti, the products that are virtually confined to this area, though Dolcetto d'Alba and Brachetto are also on sale. The palazzo, which is still in the process of reconversion, also houses a collection of early farm implements that give a vivid picture of the works and days of grape-growers in the Langhe district, especially in the area where muscat grapes have long held sway. Educational and documentary exhibitions are provided to help the visitor get a closer acquaintance with wine and the delicacies that are served with it, in this case sweets and preserved fruits.
