CANTINA COMUNALE DI LA MORRA:
This organisation is administered by a group of producers chosen from its many members and acts as a driving force for the promotion of wines from La Morra: Barolo in particular, but also Dolcetto and Barbera d'Alba. Open to all producers operating in the municipality it is housed in attractive premises with classic barrel vaulting former cellars that have been completely rearranged. The cellar is also the headquarters of the Winemakers Company, a fellowship whose many wine and gastronomical initiatives include the "Winemaker of the World Award". It is the starting-point of the "Wine Pathways", five appropriately signed routes to be followed on foot through the vineyards and past the old farmhouses. Each route ends at a restaurant or tavern, where the energy spent on the journey can be quickly recovered.
