A Z I E N D A - V I N I C O L A

Grape Variety: chardonnay.
CHARDONNAY is fun to say! She's been around a long long time so fine DOCs can be found all over the provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria.
Color: straw.
Bouquet: full, intense, ever-ever-ever-so slightly fruity, FINESSE.
Taste: dry savory, elegantly tart aftertaste.
Alcohol content: 11-12% vol.
Aging: YOUNG! After two years use for cooking or give to Uncle George!
Preservation: horizontal at a uniform temperature in a dark room.
Serving temperature:Chilled; 8 and 10 C.
Great with: fish, but also a "natural" with white sauce pastas and light soups; actually Chardonnay takes the edge off simplicity: try it with freshly baked bread and salami
